He taught at the Georgia School for the Deaf for three years before returning to his alma mater where he taught for 29 years. On the side he obtained a master in education of the hearing impaired from Lenoir Rhyne College in 1982. He retired from NCSD in 1998. Today he combines substitute teaching with a series of volunteer assignments: The NCSD Historical Museum, the NCSD Foundation, and the High Peak Investment Club. His computer skills include working on a new web site: ncsdmuseum.net, and scanning old historical NCSD pictures. He keeps busy by reading books and studying his family tree. |
